Byron
Sully or was born on a ship somewhere between England
and America. After his parents died, he headed west from
New York and stopped in Colorado Springs.
Once
married to Loren's daughter, Abigail, and heartbroken
after she died in childbirth with their daughter (Hannah),
Sully became a loner, living in the wilderness with the
Cheyenne. It wasn't until he met Michaela that he was
coaxed out of his isolation.
After they became friends, Sully finally allowed himself
to face his fears and fall in love again. They were married
on May 20, 1870 and have a daughter together — Katherine
(Katie) Elizabeth.
He
now works for the Bureau of Land Management after spending
time as an Indian Agent and scout for the National Park
Services.
